Our Board & Train program gives your dog focused, structured training while staying with us. We work on obedience, manners, leash control, impulse control, confidence, and problem behaviors based on your dog’s individual needs. Owners receive guidance at pickup so the training can continue successfully at home.
Protection training is available for suitable dogs with the right temperament, confidence, and stability. Our approach emphasizes control, obedience, clear communication, and responsible working-dog development. Evaluations are required before beginning protection work.
Protective Pups is a hands-on dog training and Cane Corso breeding program based in Chicago, owned and operated by Aramis. We focus on obedience, protection training, structured handling, and raising confident, stable Cane Corsos with strong family and working qualities.
Our dogs and puppies receive daily interaction, age-appropriate socialization, and exposure to real household life. Puppies are raised around children, cats, other dogs, and our backyard flock of ducks. We maintain approximately 1,500 square feet dedicated to our dogs, including four large indoor kennel runs that are cleaned and maintained regularly.
Our family is involved in the program every day, and our children help with routine care and socialization. Several of our adult Cane Corsos have experience with property and animal guarding, and some have participated in structured protection training.
Our goal is to raise confident, stable, well-socialized, trainable Cane Corsos and prepare each puppy for life with a responsible family.
We periodically have Cane Corso puppies available from carefully planned litters. Availability, sex, color, pricing, registration information, and go-home dates vary by litter. Contact us for current availability or to join our waitlist.
Meet the Cane Corsos behind our program. Our adult dogs are part of our daily lives and are selected with attention to temperament, structure, confidence, trainability, and working ability. Several have experience with property and animal guarding, and some have participated in structured protection training.
Our puppies go home with a veterinary exam, vaccination and deworming records, a written 1-year health guarantee, pedigree and ICCF registration paperwork as applicable, and feeding/care information. Buyers also receive a written puppy purchase agreement, and we remain available for questions after pickup.
Once puppy availability and selection are confirmed, buyers receive a written Protective Pups purchase agreement. Please review and complete the agreement before submitting a deposit. A $500 reservation deposit is then applied toward the puppy’s total purchase price. Pickup is available in Chicago, and delivery or transportation options may be arranged depending on location.
